Why are flames coming out of the ejection port after firing my Model 1100?

Table of contents

Overview

This is typical of a gas operated gun when shooting certain types of ammo. What you are seeing is the unused gases when the action opens. This is normal after the peak pressure is released and the action begins its cycle.  If you have any concerns regarding the operation or function of your firearm, please feel free to contact us at 1-800-243-9700.
