Will your current Model 1100 20 gauge stocks and fore-ends interchange with a Model 1100 20 gauge standard frame?

Table of contents

Overview

Older Model 1100 20 gauge shotguns, prior to 1969, were built on a standard 12 gauge frame.  You can identify this style by the serial number which ends in an "X" or a "N".  Since this version of Model 1100 was built on a 12 gauge frame, our current 12 gauge stocks and fore-ends should interchange with these older 20 gauge standard frame shotguns.
